Six weeks old today! It was a big day "yesterday"... we had rain!!! Playing in the rain is always fun, this filled up the driveway pond and the pups had a good time. Such a fun way to do water introduction, the rain or sprinkles from above and the puddles it creates to run and splash through. They have now added feeding time as a favorite part of the day. They weren't too impressed with kibble at first, mom was so much better. But now we get happy plates every time, the puppies are growing up.  Happy 14th Birthday to Miya, Evee Lu, Barkley, Kimber, Rudder, Nova, Remi and Baxter! Fourteen years seems so long ago. Look at these sweet babies. I remember this day being so cold, but looking back at it, apparently it was almost exactly as it is today. Have a great day!

One week old today! The puppies are doing wonderful, we have six happy, healthy puppies. They have all doubled their birth weight today and a few even overachieved a bit!  Congratulations to this sweet momma! We have six little New Years Eve puppies, they waited to make it official. Starting at 12:50am on December 31, 2026 we started the party! We celebrated a little early, but we have six beautiful puppies, one girl and five boys.  
Five weeks old today! We weren't too sure about the outdoors today. It was 70 degrees in Oklahoma and 70 degrees in January also comes with wind. Once they adjusted to the new noises they did great and loved running in the yard. They have a mouthful of teeth now. Momma is not impressed with this and the puppies are not happy about weaning either. So, we have a standoff?!
Three weeks old today! Look at how they have grown this week. Eyes and ears are open wide and the singing has begun. Momma is doing great! She loves to just sit and watch them, she always has an eye on them... of course, when they aren't eating. Five weeks old today. We enjoyed our morning walk in the stroller, the first stroller ride. They did so good, we went a rough route without any problems. Checking out the sights, the sounds, the birds singing and the dogs barking... not happy we left them. Then stopped for some exploring. Our morning walk led us in the middle of the woods to explore, run and play. They overcame obstacles, found some sticks and leaves... a great start to our day. So hard to believe it is January with the weather. We are loving it!
