This last week has been exciting...
The pups had their first thunderstorm. Not real impressed with the thunder, but we sure enjoyed all the leaf litter and sticks in the yard the following day. All those new chew toys everywhere! I think they are all water lovers. They get in the water sleds and paw at the water. They can stand in the water and get plenty of drinks, this is sooo cool! Playing more and more with our toys and love to chew on our Dingo straws! Potty training is going well. Only a few accidents each day. They are definitely catching on and making to the grass too!

All six, same picture and looking at me!!! This is so exciting! You don't how hard this is and how often I try. (front - Maya, back - left to right - Sugar, Daisy, Gronk, Waylon, Bentley) We have almost mastered stairs. Bentley is a pro, notice he is a common denominator in all the photos. I guess big brother brings comfort, this is safe... if he can do it, we can too right?!
Puppy weigh in was yesterday... it seems like they are really growing so thought it was time for a weigh in. Mr Bentley was the big boy at 8 lbs, Miss Sugar the littlest at 6 lbs and Waylon, Gronk, Daisy and Maya were all right around 7 lbs.
Puppies are six weeks old today. Its been a fun week! We all have names now and at times even act like they know them... Bentley, Sugar, Gronk, Daisy, Waylon and Maya. Their new favorite thing is the chew bones. We love the water bowl, the water faucet and the hose! I see future water lovers!
Mom your back!
Rain let up for a bit and they got to go outside and play in their new outdoor play pen. They were excited to see me coming! Well its been raining here in Oklahoma for three days, 4" and counting. This always makes for excitement with the puppies, they just aren't too sure about this rain stuff! We started on our three meals a day on puppy food and they are loving this. They are beginning to know the sound of puppy food hitting their bowls... feeding time! The beginning of food also means the start of potty training. Mostly on our part at this point, about 30 minutes after they eat we'll take them out and when they wake up from naps. They will start to catch on there is a trend to what we are doing. Lol! Pretty smart pups!
Puppies are really growing! They are really playing with one another and their toys (whether its the purchased toys or their littermates tails, ears or feet). They started on puppy food and that's been a hit. They definitely love to eat, as if you couldn't tell. We made our second trip outdoors for photos and a little play time. They are starting to warm up a bit to the idea of outside but not venturing far from one another, this is a big place out here.
